Gratitude is an Attitude

Yes, I am just a real person, making an insane amount of cookies, teaching classes and trying to make a living doing what I love!

Every day I wake up and do something I love. I am often excited to get up and going for the day as I am often creating something delicious and beautiful for you or helping you to create something through one of our classes. I am always learning something new and trying new things. There is really nothing better than doing something you love every day!

Small Business is a lifestyle and when I say that I don't mean vacations and working whenever I want. I mean, I am working constantly to make a basic living, but doing something I love that doesn't feel like work. I have more roles than I can keep track of but each one brings a new challenge and helps me grow. In my Bakery, I am a baker, decorator, creator, product development, teacher, marketer, bookkeeper, customer service and so much more. I am grateful for the flexibility to help my family, have my kids at work if need be and engage my kids through my work.

I am grateful for the unwavering support of my family as it takes countless hours to build a business. My family is my biggest supporter weather it is marketing support, cookie deliveries, kitchen decor, or simply putting up with the endless work hours, my family keeps me going!

This season, I am extra grateful for my Bakery side kick Mercedes. She keeps me on track, inspires me when I know I take on too much, allows me to sneak away from time to time and believes that we can take on anything! Except that one order.... she was right about that!

"Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it."

- William Arthur Ward

I am so grateful for the opportunity to be your cookie lady. To create edible art, delicious treats and have your continuous support. You have made my dream possible.

Thanks for believing in me,

Dani Annala
