Dani’s Kitchen started the way all good stories do — with a little curiosity, a lot of cookies, a push from a friend and a deep love for sharing joy through baking.
Owner and baker Dani Annala has called the Columbia River Gorge home her whole life. What began as simple gifts for family and friends quickly turned into something bigger — an opportunity to blend creativity, teaching, and community.
In 2019, Dani baked her first official batch of custom sugar cookies and fell in love with the process: the precision, the artistry, and the smiles they created. Since then, Dani’s Kitchen Shop has grown into a bustling bakery known for custom cookies, DIY decorating kits, pop-up events, and baking education that reaches well beyond her hometown.
Today, Dani’s Kitchen isn’t just about cookies — it’s about connection. Whether you’re picking up a custom order, learning a new skill in one of her classes, or growing your own bakery through The Business of Baking, Dani’s mission remains the same: to help others feel confident, creative, and inspired in the kitchen.
