About the event
In this class you will learn how to make fresh cheese at home! Students will learn the fundamentals of cheesemaking including the difference between acidification and fermentation. Students will make two types of cheese; queso fresco and mozzarella both of which will be taken home. In addition to the fun hands on, we will also discover and learn about the world of cheese by tasting our way from soft cheeses to hard cheeses.
This class is open ot all ages. Minors must be accompanied with an adult.
Chef Bio
Born and raised in Parkdale, Chef Michelle has always loved helping grandma in the kitchen after school. Those days of flour coated cheeks and steamy pots on the stove inspired her to love all things food.
